Kevin Gerety (K.C.) has a warm, compassionate, non-judgmental style of working with clients of all ages. He relates particularly well with younger clients and is sought after for his capacity to connect with teens and young adults. He was first introduced into the field when he himself was a young adult working as a behavioral technician at a substance use treatment facility in Los Angeles. It was here that K.C. discovered an untapped resource of passion for helping others navigate and overcome the inevitable challenges inherent in life. Since then, KC has worked in several mental health settings including Pascack Mental Health Center. He became skilled at treating a wide range of issues such as anxiety, self-identity, depression, grief, family issues, OCD, parental divorce and panic disorder. Prior to working at SPS, K.C. was on the Clinical Staff at Blue Crest Recovery Center working in a therapeutic capacity to counsel individuals suffering from substance use and mental health disorders.
