JIM WEISS, PHD

Dr. Weiss has followed a path from philosophy to theology to psychology. He intertwines all three disciplines in therapy, with an emphasis on building strong relationships with clients. Dr. Weiss began his psychotherapy career in the mid-’90s and worked at the student counseling centers at Seton Hall University, the University of Georgia, Wake Forest University, and Virginia Commonwealth University. He has published in transpersonal psychology journals and wrote a book chapter on humanistic group psychotherapy for the American Psychological Association. He is also a trained hypnotherapist.
