Together For Mental Health

We have made great progress during this century to raise awareness of Mental Health and minimize the stigma attached to the  topic of mental health.  National agencies such as NAMI, Mental Health America, and other affiliates have worked tirelessly over the years to raise awareness and shed light on the enormity of the problem.  For example, approximately one in five adults in the United States, 43.8 million, or 18.5%, experiences a mental illness in a given year.

Together For Mental Health 2022

"For 2022’s Mental Health Awareness Month, NAMI will amplify the message of “Together for Mental Health.” We will use this time to bring our voices together to advocate for mental health and access to care through NAMI’s blog, personal stories, videos, digital toolkits, social media engagements and national events.

Together, we can realize our shared vision of a nation where anyone affected by mental illness can get the appropriate support and quality of care to live healthy, fulfilling lives."
