Dr. Vasudev N. Dixit, PhD, is a licensed psychologist and the Director and Owner of Summit Psychological Services. He brings over a decade of experience providing psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and clinical leadership across university, hospital, and private practice settings.

Dr. Dixit previously served as Director of the Counseling Center at Rutgers University–Newark, where he led comprehensive mental health services, supervised multidisciplinary teams, and contributed to national initiatives aimed at reducing suicidality among college populations. His work has consistently focused on expanding access to care while maintaining clinical depth, cultural responsiveness, and integrity.

Clinically, Dr. Dixit practices from an integrative, evidence-based framework, with training in CBT, DBT, and trauma-focused therapies. His areas of expertise include trauma, mood disorders, substance use, life transitions, and challenges related to identity, culture, and belonging. His approach is both structured and adaptive—grounded in science while responsive to the lived experience of each individual.
