Holding dual licenses in NJ and NY, Bryan Proano, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from Columbia University, with extensive experience in treating trauma, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression and Grief. He works with children, adolescents, adults and seniors through individual, couples and family counseling. He works with clients that struggle with a variety of issues such as ADHD, depression, separation anxiety, anger management, co- dependence, life transitions, family stressors, divorce, employment issues/loss, and retirement.

With eleven years of wide ranging Mental Health clinical experience, Bryan has supervised a team of other mental health professionals in a large crisis center for homeless individuals while also serving as Director of anti-human trafficking services at that non-profit. This diverse level of experience has allowed Bryan to recognize and treat mental health issues over a wide spectrum of challenges. A non-judgmental, compassionate, client centered therapist, Bryan uses effective evidence based clinical modalities including CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, Play Therapy, DBT, and Harm Reduction. In addition, Bryan has expertise in treating Medical Trauma and LGBTQ+ mental health challenges.
