Dr. Donovan is a Post-Doctoral Fellow working under the supervision of the Managing Director, Dr. Alison Johnson. He is able to draw on his 20+ years as an educator and school administrator, along with his knowledge in clinical psychology to bring a unique background and perspective to the practice. He has extensive training in working with children and adolescents. He also works with adults, couples, families and groups.
Dr. Donovan incorporates a variety of orientations and approaches into his work, with a focus on cognitive behavioral therapy. He also values the importance of psychoeducation.
He is well versed in working with children, families and schools regarding Individualized Education Plans, I&RS and 504 Plans, Child Study Team Referrals and School Refusal. He focuses on the importance of a successful relationship between the home and school.
Dr. Donovan also focuses on Career Counseling, Life Coaching and Executive Coaching.
