OBSERVING MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTHS AT SPS
While Mental Health is the focus at SPS all year round, in May we make it a special priority to bring attention to National Mental Health Awareness Month. Observed nationally since 1949, the goal of Mental Health Awareness Month has been to increase education and awareness about mental health and reduce the stigma associated with mental health disorders. These pages contain educational material which we have used over the last few years to highlight the different themes which have been the focus for Mental Health Awareness Months.
Please join us year round in addressing mental health concerns across the nation and learn more about how you can contribute to the conversation on mental illness and public health.
