Mr. Goldman spent seven years as a therapist in a school for children and teens with severe emotional disturbances and other special needs, helping both kids and families. He builds strong, trusting relationships with clients to empower them to take positive risks, and he uses creative techniques to demonstrate new behaviors. These range from modeling to role-play to Horse-Powered Growth and Learning (which includes horse-assisted psychotherapy). Mr. Goldman also runs horse-assisted learning programs for organizations and other groups. He has presented on child abuse prevention and parenting.
