Dr. Martone’s warmth, gentleness, and down-to-earth manner enable her to connect deeply with people of all ages, cultures, backgrounds, and levels of physical and psychological functioning. Previously Dr. Martone was a senior psychologist at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, where she helped children, teens, and adults from diverse backgrounds face a range of mental health issues, psychiatric disorders, and HIV/AIDS. She also coordinated Jacobi's psychological testing program and supervised psychology staff and trainees. In practice since the late 1990s, Dr. Martone has published and presented on psychosocial issues related to cancer and HIV/AIDS.
