Dr. Stone is widely known and highly respected for his expertise in assessing and treating learning, developmental, and behavioral disorders in children and teens. During his 30-year career he has counseled children, adolescents, and families in clinical and school settings, and he has helped public and private schools create supportive environments for children with emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges. Dr. Stone supervises students at the Rutgers University Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology, and he was on the faculties of Fairleigh Dickinson University and Columbia University's Teachers College. In addition, he has led many workshops on children’s mental health issues for parents and school professionals.
