Individual therapy—child and adolescent
In child and adolescent therapy (also called child and adolescent counseling), a troubled child or teen can find a trusted friend, mentor, and sounding board. Whether verbally or through play, the child can open up, be heard, and listen in ways that may feel uncomfortable or unsafe outside the counselor's office.
At Summit Psychological Services (SPS), kids of all ages can get the help and guidance they need. Many of our therapists are experts in the following issues affecting children (starting at 3 years old) and teenagers. Please keep in mind that this is not a complete list. If your child or you need help with an issue you don't see here, don't hesitate to call us.
